JOSEPH MALONE  (Sergeant, afterwards Riding Master)  13^th Hussars             On October 25^th 1854, while returning on foot from the charge at Balaklava, in which his horse had been shot, Malone stayed, under a severe fire, to take charge of Captain Webb, 17^th Lancers (who had been mortally wounded), until others arrived to assist in removing him.
